All hail the Birria King—our newest Shopkeeper at the Market!

 

For the uninitiated, birria is more than a dish—it’s a culinary experience! These dishes feature slow-cooked, tender meat with a rich, savory broth infused with spices, which can come in a variety of different forms. Birria King’s menu is set with all the hits, such as birria tacos, egg rolls, quesadillas, nachos, and a consommé-style soup. 

 

The owner and operator, Lord Stephen Range, has been in business for several years now in the Cedar Rapids area, perfecting his operations and recipes. We’re ecstatic to have him at NewBo City Market as a part of our Shopkeeper community! 

 

Birria King’s grand opening is happening on Friday, January 19. Be sure to stop by and taste his delicious birria masterpieces for yourself!
