The best and most creative cocktail bars and restaurants in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor have been invited to participate in the 2025 Spring Cocktail Classic! Sample a variety of exciting cocktail creations from elite local mixologists all vying to win Best Cocktail! This year, all of the cocktails will be crafted from Cedar Ridge's Bagger Vodka.​
Our theme this spring celebrates all thing musical! Each participating bar will choose an iconic album to base their cocktail theme off of, Starting on Tuesday, May 27th at 7 p.m., a panel of 'celebrity' judges will name the "Cocktail Classic Champion," guests will also be given the opportunity to vote for "The People's Choice".

Ticket holders will enjoy a craft cocktail from each participating bar, the option to dine at any of our NewBo City Market vendors, and a welcome cocktail from Cedar Ridge. A limited number of tickets are available.​ You can grab your tickets here:
Event rules: No outside food or drink. Must be 21 years or older to attend.

No refunds or exchanges. Proceeds from The 2024 NewBo Cocktail Classic benefit NewBo City market's mission to support local entrepreneurs as they grow new food and retail businesses and to provide a place for arts, culture, and entertainment for the entire community to enjoy.
