Owner Blanche Vega can be found behind the counter at her new fast-casual cuisine restaurant at NewBo City Market. With a passion for cooking and a desire to bring a taste of her culture to Cedar Rapids, Blanche started her business by setting up at cultural festivals and fairs. Wanting to take the next step in growing her business, Blanche pursued the option of opening a booth at NewBo City Market. In September 2018, Pinoy Cafe opened up in the Market and has quickly become a favorite amongst the Market employees!
