Beginning in 2022, NewBo City Market will host weekly farmers markets featuring local farmers every Thursday and Saturday, from May through September.
As a community gathering space within walking distance of several residential neighborhoods, the Market knows that hosting a weekly farmers market will help provide food access at large in our community.
SNAP benefits will be accepted, as well as Double Up Food Bucks, thanks to a partnership with Horizons Family Services.
Local farmers of all sizes, and offering a variety of products, will be showcased in front of the Market each week.
In addition, NewBo City Market will work with Feed Iowa First and their Equitable Land Access program, which fosters diverse new farmers in our community, to bring a wide variety of cultural vegetables.
Made possible by our generous donors The Cedar Grove Signature Fund and the CLA Foundation.
How to vend
For only $10 per farmers market day, you can sell your produce and other products at NewBo City Market.
Our community is in need of farm-grown and value-added whole food products such as fruits, vegetables, eggs, produce, jams and jellies, honey, meat and dairy products, plants, mushrooms and more.
If your items do not fall under this category, please apply as a regular Guest Vendor for the Market's weekend Guest Vendor Markets.
Apply for specific dates at managemymarket.com. Contact Brad at brad@newbocitymarket.org for more information.
NewBo City Market's Farmers Market is specific to whole food products. Retail and other items will not be permitted at these markets.

It is ideal for businesses that require high-performance computing, but prefer to avoid the complexity and cost of managing their own servers. Unlike standard internet connections IPLC provides a private, dedicated line that ensures greater reliability, lower latency, and enhanced security. This makes it ideal for multinational corporations or businesses that frequently transfer…
