After a two-month hiatus, Pinoy Cafe, a Filipino restaurant inside NewBo City Market, has reopened in a new space with an expanded menu.
Shopkeeper Blanche Vega said she is "excited to see and serve all of you with our amazing food and contagious smile" in the larger space. Pinoy Cafe's new menu offers old Market favorites, such as the fried lumpia and pork adobo, and new unique treats, like grilled chicken skewers and "Turon a la Mode," a fried banana dessert served with ube ice cream.
Of all the changes that NewBo City Market has experienced in the past few months one of the most exciting and positive has been offering an established Shopkeeper this opportunity for expansion.
Blanche's shop and expanded menu was featured in this week's installment of the Return to the Market video series, which you can watch here.
